⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 — Crash Palace
On a whim and due to massive hunger, my girlfriend and I booked a reservation for dinner. Yes, as others have written, the place has an older interior, but it is eclectic. Gianna took care of us. She was kind and prompt. My gin martini was great but my girlfriend ordered their apple tini. Instead, she received a sour apple tini, which she hates. However, she was not in the mood to return it. I started with their absolutely incredible New England clam chowder. Peppery and creamy, the chowder came with bacon and onion. This is the best chowder I have had since Charcuterie in Stroudsburg. My girlfriend loved her salad as well as her giant chicken parmigiana. I ordered the queen cut of their prime rib with shrimp, including mashed potatoes and green beans. It was excellent. However, they added some sugar to the shrimp, which was horrific. I never imagined something like that happening. I also did not realize until right now that I had been charged for the king cut. We shared their homemade tiramisu. This was dense and creamy and the lady fingers had been dipped in perfect espresso. Other than holes in my cloth napkin, cobwebs in the corner, and some food and beverage issues, we will give Big A another try.

The food was excellent. Best New England clam chowder I have ever had. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and very pretty. The prices were less than expected for such great quality.

We were there at an odd time of day. Not lunch not dinner. We were the only people in the place. The food was good. A bit over priced, but most resturants are these days. The service was excellent. Server was very attentive, checking g in on us regularly. My wife really enjoyed the Queen cut of Prime Rib. I had the hamburger which was also delicious. I recommend this place, but will likely only go on special occasions because of the price.

I had a great kings cut prime rib. Perfectly seasoned didn't need anything else. My wife had veal milanese too much breading to get to the veal. The lobster bisque was too salty. Dessert was very good the tiramasu and the lava cake. Casual dining quiet spent around $160 for two including tip.

It is a classic, unique restaurant. The wife and I stopped for our first visit. She had the veal parm, and I had scallops and shrimp. The entrees were delicious, but the strawberry cheesecake was the highlight for me.

I attended a daytime celebration event at this venue , the ambiance was nice, I was able to observe the other dining rooms, they had a rustic country feel, cozy and welcoming. We did not have food off the menu but we did have a Italian style buffet for our event, the food was delicious and plentiful. Many of the guest did have to go to the bar if they wanted any alcoholic drinks. Definitely would recommend this venue if you want to have a sit down celebration.
